LOMELT 101

  • A versatile all position electrode for low carbon steels. Especially recommended for thin gauge sheets and plates, where warpage, distortion and stresses are to be kept minimum and burn through eliminated.

LOMELT 102
  • Hydrogen controlled, low alloy,high tensile steel electrode.
  • Gives radiographic quality welds.
  • Ideal for restrained and oil soaked parts.
  • Excellent impact resistance and ductility.
  • High strength and crack free deposits.
  • For low alloy high tensile steels, problem steels having sulphur and other alloying elements added to base metal for better machinability.These alloying elements which can cause porosity/hidden defects are purged with the electrode arc action from the molten pool. Most suitable where toughness and weld reliability are important.

  • Elongation: 28% (Typ.)

LOMELT 102-S
  • Gives radiographic quality weld.
  • Ideal for restrained and oil soaked parts.

  • For low alloy high tensile steels, cast steels, problem steels having sulphur and other alloying elements added to base metal for better machinability.   • A low heat input electrode with non- hygroscopic flux coating provides excellent crack resistance and toughness at sub zero temperatures. Suitable for heavy sections and restrained joints subjected to dynamic loading.

LOMELT 104

  • Lomelt 104 is a low-hydrogen iron powder electrode suitable for welding of medium tensile strength steels. Weld metal is of radiographic quality. Medium tensile strength and excellent ductility combined with very good impact values makes the electrode versatile.
